Research and Policy Analysis

Politics exists to develop policy in order to improve people's lives. Positif
Politics prides itself on the high quality of the policy and political
research we undertake. These projects are always bespoke and can vary
in size. We tend to use a standard day rate calculation for all our research
and policy work so that clients can choose the amount of time they want
us to spend depending on the level of detail they want and the amount
they are prepared to invest.
We have undertaken bespoke research and policy analysis exercises for organisations as diverse as the Parkinson's Disease Society, Citizens Advice Cymru, Kidney Wales Foundation, Community Transport Wales, a range of pharmaceutical companies, and the Federation of Small Businesses.
One of out particular specialisms is in political audit, where we examine the perceptions of politicians and opinion formers on organisations and issues. We have undertaken this sort of research for bodies including the Wales Tobacco Control Alliance, British Waterways, Tenovus and the British Association of Social Workers.
Within our research portfolio is also our expertise in helping clients respond to consultations issued by various Governments or Committees in Cardiff and Westminster. Because we track policy reviews we can help make evidence more pertinent or impactful, advising on maximising impact and ensuring your messages are well supported and consistent. As with our other research work, we are able to tailor such services to the level of detail or the amount of investment available.
