People - Llyr Roberts

Llyr Roberts is a founding member of Positif Politics and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since August 2010, having previously held a number of posts within the company including Senior Consultant (2006–2009), Head of Monitoring (2007-2009) and Director of Business Development (2009-2010).
After graduating from Oxford University, Llyr joined BBC Wales' Political Unit, where he worked as a senior producer on a number of TV and radio programmes, gaining valuable insight and understanding of the UK and Welsh political systems and the media. He subsequently worked as a senior public affairs consultant with another public affairs agency for 3 years, before co-founding Positif Politics with Daran Hill in 2006.
While working with Positif Politics, Llyr has completed a Masters in Business
Administration (MBA) with distinction at Cardiff Business School and he
offers considerable strategic insight to both clients and at board level
within the company. He is currently working on a PhD in Corporate Social
Responsibility at the ESRC Centre for Business Relationships, Accountability,
Sustainability and Society (BRASS) and Cardiff Business School. He is also
a fluent Welsh speaker and a regular contributor to media in Wales.
