Positif Politics

People - Felicity Waters

Felicity Waters joined Positif Politics as an External Consultant in 2009. She is an award-winning investigative journalist who has worked for the BBC, ITV and the Western Mail. Her experience and ability adds considerably to the Positif Politics PR and media relations offering.

As Health correspondent for the national newspaper of Wales she won an award for her campaigning journalism, and her undercover investigation into the exploitation of migrant workers for the BBC's Week in Week Out programme was recognised by both BAFTA Cymru and the Celtic Film Festival. Felicity now writes for specialist journals including the Times Educational Supplement and the British Medical Association as their Wales Correspondent.

Her investigative journalism has led to her working with a number of charities to raise their profile. In 2007-08 she developed the PR strategy for the highly successful People Like Us campaign for the Kidney Wales Foundation. Felicity also co-ordinated a hard-hitting press campaign to bring about changes for children in the care system on behalf of the charity Voices from Care.
