Positif Politics

Code of Conduct

As a company Positif Politics took a strategic decision at the outset to work to raise the status and understanding of public affairs in Wales. We are honest about what we do and how we do it; and our advocacy services respect the highest ethical standards to ensure our work for you enhances your reputation.

In March 2007 Positif Politics was approved for membership of the Association of Professional Political Consultants (APPC). The APPC is the representative and regulatory body for UK public affairs professionals in the consultancy sector. To have achieved membership this early in our operation is testament to the high regard in which we are held in the public affairs community, and also reflects our determination to abide to and be seen to abide to the highest standards of openness, transparency and ethical best practice. All of our work is therefore in line with the APPC Code of Practice. We have also worked within the APPC to ensure their standards are rigorously applied in Wales as well as London.

We have also supported and helped develop Public Affairs Cymru, the professional body for the industry in Wales, which was founded in 2006. Indeed, Positif Politics is committed to working with professionals from other agencies and organisations to raise awareness about the importance, validity and vitality of public affairs as a profession.
