Daran’s vision for the 2007 Election Website is that it helps organizations to really engage with the Assembly election rather than be interested bystanders

His official role is: ensuring that the site delivers high quality analysis and comment

Daran will be contributing: the political analysis that forms the bedrock of the site

Daran is: vastly experienced in Welsh public affairs, having worked for Weber Shandwick, BSMG and GJW Cymru Wales; he set up Positif Politics so he could develop projects like the 2007 Election Website

In a previous life: Daran was the National Organizer for the “Yes For Wales” devolution campaign

Gwilym Morris

Gwilym’s vision for the 2007 Election Website is it becomes a space where lots of different types of organisations can meet and think about the future of Wales

His official role is: to make sure the voluntary sector and smaller Welsh organisations can play their part in the 2007 Election Website

Gwilym will be contributing: comment and analysis on how organisations with limited resources can use the Assembly election to make sure they get their message across

Gwilym is: currently the director of The Pollen Shop and Pollination Campaigns

In a previous life: Gwilym was President of NUS Wales

Susan Bowen

Susan’s vision for the 2007 Election Website is it is always relevant and up to date

Her official role is: gathering candidate and constituency data for the site

Susan will be contributing: regular factual updates and proofing the site

Susan is: raising her young family while inputting into a number of projects

In a previous life: Susan was European Projects Officer for the European Affairs Department at the WDA

Andy Davies

Andy’s vision for the 2007 Election Website is that people who don’t know much about Welsh politics will find the site easy to use

His official role is: as the technical boffin who makes the site work

Andy will be contributing: comment to the site about how organizations can use technology during the 2007 election

Andy is: currently in charge of technology at The Pollen Shop and is vastly experienced in creating technologies to help people understand or get involved in the democratic process

In a previous life: Andy once bought £44million of beer

Eluned Haf

Eluned’s vision for the 2007 Election Website is to make it accessible and relevant for an audience outside the UK

Her official role is: offering cultural and international analysis on how changes in Wales are relevant to the European Union, especially by monitoring European Structural Funds 2007-2013

Eluned will be contributing: her unique creative insight into the way Wales fits in to a modern Europe

Eluned is: currently Managing Director of una, a communications agency focused on creative European projects

In a previous life: Eluned worked at the BBC and Reuters and for the Green group in the European Parliament

Rene’s vision for the 2007 Election Website is to help organisations without much public affairs capabilities in Wales make sense of the potential of the Assembly Election

His official role is: expanding the range of organisations that benefit from the site

René will be contributing: ideas and partners to the project

René is: an experienced public relations and public affairs consultant

In a previous life: René has worked on policy development and public affairs briefs in the criminal justice, energy, planning, higher education and consumer protection

His official role is: a lead part of the promotions team

Dave will be contributing: experience and user perspective

Dave is: an experienced event organizer with a strong political and private sector background

In a previous life: Dave was Head of Party Projection for Welsh Labour for seven years

Siobhan will be contributing: her insight into the politics of health

Siobhan is: currently a health economist, broadcaster and media commentator

In a previous life: Siobhan was a health services manager and a judge on a reality TV programme looking for future Welsh politicians

Llŷr will be contributing:  political intelligence and commentary

Llŷr is: an experienced public affairs consultant and media commentator

In a previous life: Llŷr used to be a producer in BBC Wales' Political Unit and worked on UK and Welsh General Election coverage
